Extracellular matrix-mimicking hydrogels with antioxidant, hemostasis, and antibacterial properties offer translating avenues towards wound repair through the promotion of fibroblast proliferation. In article number 2001122 by Hélder A. Santos, Mohammad-Ali Shahbazi, co-workers, hydrogen bonding among functional groups gelatin tannic acid creates a biocompatible hydrogel, where improvement re-epithelialization collagen deposition are its main features to treat full-thickness wounds.
